I've been in a Kurt Vonnegut binge. I read Slaughterhouse Five, Man Without and Country, and Breakfast of Champions. I want more, it's addictive.
I also read Chuck Palahniuk's first book of fiction called Stranger Than Fiction, which I strongly recommend. He's tough because his writing technique isn't all that great (I think), mostly because he writes in second person a lot about things that I personally can't relate to but his stories are heart-touching and he's so honest. He makes me fall in love with him all over again every time I read more.
